January DIY: Glitter Bath Bombs

Welcome back, everyone. And happy new year! I can hardly believe it is already 2018, but I am so looking forward to the fresh start and the chance to work on some new goals! Anyone else?!

One of my resolutions for this 2018 year is to take more time to be creative. Sometimes in the craziness of life, I find myself stuck in routine + honestly feeling a bit uninspired. This year I really want to work on carving time out each week to be creative…whether that means making a new recipe, writing a blog post or testing out a DIY like this one!

Bath bombs are such a huge trend right now, but they can be so expensive. Not only are these festive bombs so easy to make, but the ingredients are affordable and the recipe is totally customizable.

I decided to make these “new year’s” themed with some fun glitter for the month of January. I think they are so cute, and it’s so much fun to watch the fizzing + the sparkles in the water (it almost looks like a mini fireworks show haha!). And I’m not kidding when I say that you can totally skip lotion after your bath, because the coconut oil in the bomb does it all.

What are some of your new year’s resolutions?
